Cultural Tour to Georgia

 

Day 1: In early morning, we will meet the participiants come from Trabzon airport and bus station then take road to Rize, Hopa, Borçka Artvin, the city we have lunch break. We would like to show you Ardanuç Cehennem Deresi Canyon, breath- taking beauty of Village Yavuz on the  way of Ardahan where we will stay.

Day 2: We will get crooked and dirt road from Ardahan to Posof after breakfast. It is got in Georgia from Posof Türk gözü Border Gate and Vale Town whose people are generally Armenian welcomes us first. We sometimes have break to speak people and take pictures in the town. We arrive Meskheti formerly inhabiting the Meskhetian Turks and also Meskheti Castle, once used by Ottomans, is visited. Then we move to Vardzia cave monastery site excavated from the slopes of the Erusheti Mountain so similar to Cappadocia. In the evening we return to Meskheti and stay there.

Day 3: First destination is Borjomi, which is a resort town and famous for its mineral water, and take a ride in city center then get to Gori. We  visit  reputed leader of Soviet Union Josef Stalin’s homeland and house&museum in Gori. Later we turn our face to cultural capital and historical center of Tbilisi. We will discover hidden treasure of Tbilisi in evening and stay there.

Day 4: In the morning, we will go to Sighnaghi town in region of Kakheti, is known as city of love. Town’s beauty is unbelievable. The town is walled with the remnants such as Great Wall of China. Later we would like to show you house museum and ancient winery which was built in early 18 century by Chavchavadze. The highly regarded dry white Tsinandali is still produced there. Alaverdi Cathedral, is the second tallest religious building in Georgia, will also be visited and return to Tbilisi to have dinner and discover the nights of Tbilisi.

Day 5:  The fifth day of our tour will be devoted to Tbilisi city. As a starting point, we will visit Saint Gorgi from there to Kartlis Deda which symbolizes the Georgian national character: in her left hand she holds a bowl of wine to greet those who come as friends, and in her right hand is a sword for those who come as enemies. Next destination is Tv Tower where we can see the whole city above and take photos on Tasminda hill.  We are going to go the another hill on which is a Georgian historical monument made by a well-known painter, sculptor, architect and decorator Zurab Tsereteli and out Tbilisi trip ends up. Now it is time sightseeing trip in Sataplia Nature Reserve, found the footprints of Kutaisi Dinosaur. On the way of Batumi we will stop by in Kobleti Town and then we will get to Batumi to make cultural discovery, have dinner and stay.

Day 6: We are going to return Turkey from Sarp Border Gate and our tour ends up in Trabzon.
