From Eastern Blacksea to Eastern Anatolia


Day 1:  In early morning we will meet the guide in Trabzon and then visit Maçka, Sümela monastery. At noon we have lunch at the city center. Afterwards we’ll go to  Atatürk Köşkü (In 1924 Mustafa Kemal Atatürk stayed in the villa during his visit to Trabzon. It houses period rooms and serves as a monument to the memory of the founder and first President of the Republic of Turkey.) Hagia Sophia musuem and lastly Lake Uzungöl where we are going to check in hotel.

Day 2:  We will take road to Rize city center and Rize Castle where you have a chance to taste special tea of Rize. Seeing Ardeşen, Fırtına Valley and Zil Castle one by one, we arrive Ayder. Later we will check in for the night and start  trekking to Kavron Valley. In the evening we have dinner and free time.

Day 3:  We are going to leave Ayder in early morning , respectively our destinations are Arhavi district, Ortaçala Stream, ancient Çifte bridge, Mecnuna waterfall, Borçka, Artvin Kafkasör Plateau, Ardanuç Cehennem Deresi Canyon and lastly Şavşat Karagöl. In the evening hearty dinner will be awaiting us in Şavşat.

Day 4: After breakfast, we will take some photos in the cosy nature of Village Yavuz and then drive to Ardahan and Ardahan castle. Short ride in Ardahan city center and later we are going to go to Kars the city we will stay overnight and visit Anı Harabeleri.

Day 5: Our route of fifth day starts with Iğdır province,then Ishak Pasha Palace in Doğubeyazıt district. The Ishak Pasha Palace is a rare example of the historical Turkish palaces. After lunch we will drive to Erzurum for short ride in city center and visiting Çifte Minareli Medrese, (Madrasa is an architectural monument of the late Seljuk period in the Turkish city of Erzurum) our trip ends in Erzurum Airport.
